The book is called "Wilhelm Reich in Hello" by Robert Anton Wilson. The first part (halt the book!) is a really provocative essay on reality tunnels and perspective. The second is a play called "Wilhelm Reich in Hell", the trial of Wilhelm Reich for all the things he's done in his life!
The second book is "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". Hard to describe, but absolutely incredible. A must read!
The third and fourth book is "Illusions" and "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach. Those are like my little bibles of life!
The fifth book is "The Secret Oral Teachings of the Tibetan Buddhist Sects". A primer on Tibetan Buddhism.
Enjoy!

Re: Great books on Perspective Shifting!
Sat, December 11, 2004 - 1:21 PMTo me, another great way to think about this is via film. Two great films that have you totally shift perspective are "The Sixth Sense" and "The Others." Wow. At the end, each film offers a major turn-around for the audience. The way you thought things were . . . simply aren't so. And you must go back through the film with a new perspective (frame or lens). In this way, both films gain new meaning--and so it is with perspective shifting. I believe a shift of perspective opens up the tapestry of life, makes you aware of different colored threads that have been woven in.
